Letter from Kazimierz Ajdukiewicz written 3/12/1956

Warsaw, 12/3/56

                Dear Roman.

I’m turning to you with a request to supply me with the text of what you said as part of the discussion at the induction conference in connection with Greniewski’s paper. Specifically, we would like to print the full texts of the papers and the course of discussion in Studia Logica; however, I’m not certain whether the minutes drawn up on the basis of notes taken during the meeting are accurate, so I’m asking you to please reconstruct the content of your speech yourself. (I’m attaching the text drawn up by the recording clerk.) Please respond as quickly as possible, since we want the report on the induction conference to go to press as soon as possible.

I’d like to take this opportunity to thank you very much for your letter and the wishes contained therein.

I just learned that the conference which was supposed to take place in Cracow in March has been postponed until April.

Therefore, my trip to (and possible lecture) in Cracow is subject to delay.

                I attach cordial greetings

                                                                                                      Your

                                                                                                K. Ajdukiewicz
