                       Dear Mr Roman!

            I acknowledge with thanks my receipt of the transfer for 550 zlotys ‒ probably the rest of the fee from Studia Philosophica? I want to take this opportunity to mention that your Jordan book, about which I was supposed to ask my brother-in-law, was eventually given by him to Prof. Czerny, so that he could bring it to you. Czerny has not yet been able to unpack his boxes of books; he’s promised me to remember this book when he finds it.
