Most Honourable Rector.

            I attach Prof. N. Łubnicki’s article about Politzer’s book and respectfully ask you to give your opinion, a) as to the value of this article (not being sufficiently informed on Marxist philosophy, I cannot myself judge whether the presentation of Politzer’s views and the criticism thereof are correct from an academic point of view); b) as to whether or not this article ought to be published in the Quarterly.

            I apologise for contributing with my request to increasing your workload; notwithstanding, I consider you, of all the members of the Quarterly editorial board, the most competent to evaluate the article in question.
