Dear Most Honourable Professor!
At your request (repeated several times) I’m attaching a summary of my academic achievements along with a bibliographical excerpt for the purposes of Volume III of your History of Philosophy.
It takes up about 60 lines, and I’ll be happy if you wouldn’t mind simply including it in the text of your work. It’s important to me that the information should be substantial rather than merely formal. Of course, you can use it according to your own discretion, but I don’t think it can be shortened, e.g. to the 10‒15 lines you mentioned. If that were to prove necessary, I’d be grateful if you didn’t mention me at all.
I attach expressions of respect and esteem
