                       Dear Friend,

            I urgently need the copy of the Méd[itations] Cart[ésiennes] back for teaching purposes. Several Americans and one Englishman are with us, who would like to study the Med[itations] under Dr. Fink’s guidance.

            What do you say: I received a call to Los Angeles as a visiting professor. I am going to consider the possibilities, whether for one year or a half year.
