Letter from Stanisław Ignacy Witkiewicz written 09.02.1939
9.II 1939
Honoured and Dear Professor:
I am sending you the requested photos. There were a lot under the same number and I had to (you did not write what they illustrated), not via naked eye and not adequately, choose them on my own with a magnifying glass. I would like to take this opportunity to ask you of the article is supposed to be the same size (20-22 pp) of the typescript or if it can be extended a little and if so, how much. I am still writing on Carnap for internal self-development. I have discussions with Leszczyński here. Idealism brought to the ultimate consequences is a terrible thing – it turns into realism under other labels.
I enclose words of respect and affection for both of you.
Vitkacius
Maybe you will just write me a few words soon about the dimensions of the article on a card. Photog[raph] 2 zloty, but maybe it’s better in person.
