Honorable Colleague,
I have received your letter. Thank you for taking care of the final preparation of Fr. Michalski’s script. I will give the preface and the letter to Mr. Kucharski for translation, however he is currently busy with other deadlines. I predict that I will be sending the translation to Krakow soon nonetheless, it will be up to Mr. Kucharski to decide whether the mention of his name should be kept in the preface or whether it will simply mention a “Paris translator”.
v At the same time, I am writing to the Academy to reiterate my suggestion to publish Neophilologicum Archive in individual issues, as long as the length of an article is around one author’s sheet. Smaller articles and contributions can be combined into collective issues. This method was adopted by the Philological Archives, with good results. Printing goes smoother and the manuscripts return earlier from the Office of Press Control.
v I am awaiting your next book orders. I expect that the Professor’s Son’s condition has improved considerably, which I wish sincerely the both of you.
v My deepest respect and cordial greetings.
Stanisław Wędkiewicz
