Letter to Władysław Tatarkiewicz written 29.05.1967
Cracow, 29 May 1967
Dear Władysław,
Thank you for the card. I talked to the Dean a week ago; as he told me he’d sent you a letter two days earlier, I haven’t written to you about this matter.
As for the invitations to the Aesthetics Congress in Sweden, I haven’t really had any great desire to take part, since the programme seems to me uninteresting. Nevertheless, please send me the invitations. Anyway, they should have my address. As for other people in Cracow, I think that it will suffice if they send them for the following individuals:
docent Dr Jerzy Gałecki, ul. Siemieradzkiego 29
docent Dr Maria Gołaszewska, ul. Daszyńskiego 22, apt. 32
Dr Władysław Stróżewski, ul. Szpitalna 4, apt. 5.
Prof. Dr Stefan Szuman, ul. Manifestu Lipcowego 13
Prof. Lech Kalinowski, ul. Szymanowskiego 4 (or at the University)
Prof. Dr Henryk Markiewicz, ul. Grottgera 1, apt. 12
docent Dr M. Rzepińska, ul. 18 Stycznia, building 31
Dr Janina Makota, ul. Litewska 15,
Father Dr Jan Popiel, Monastery of the Jesuit Order, ul. Kopernika 26
docent Dr Danuta Gierulanka, Fałata 4, II entryway, apt. 4
(the order of the names is quite accidental here, simply the order in which these names came to mind).
That’s all for now. I deeply regret this, but I don’t know if I’ll be able to be in Cracow on the 27th. What’s the programme for the ceremony?
Cordial greetings
Your Roman
Do you know what’s actually happening with the Acts of the Congress in Amsterdam? I’ve written to Aler twice about this matter, but have received no answer. Nota bene, I paid for these Acts a long time ago.
