Letter from Władysław Tatarkiewicz written 04.11.1965
Dear Roman. I received a notification today about my lecture at the Polish Philosophical Society on 11/11: so you decided to organise it anyway! I’m arriving on Monday at 8 p.m., because on Tuesday, as I wrote you, I have a lecture at the Polish Academy of Sciences.
Czerny was supposed to reserve the hotel officially, but today he writes that it won’t be assigned until the day before my arrival, and after my arrival I have to go find out about it on Pawia. I don’t like this and don’t consider it proper treatment of a member of the Academy and its guests.
n A handshake until I see you

Nor do I know whether Czerny has ordered me a room for a long stay (as I asked him to) so that I can stay until Thursday.
