Dear Roman,

I’ve sent my thanks to PAU [Polska Akademia Umiejętności; Polish Academy of Learning] for my election to the Committee of the Library of Classics of Philosophy – but I offer them to you as well. It’s just that I don’t know what responsibilities this entails. I don’t think the atmosphere for philosophy is such that it’ll be necessary to travel to Cracow too often for meetings. Aren’t the two of you going to Zakopane for the semester break? It’d be nice to meet again; we’re going to ‘Witkiewiczówka’.
