Postcard from Tadeusz Czeżowski written 21.11.1948

Toruń, 21/11/1948

Dear Roman!

I’m disturbing you with my third consecutive card, this time only to confirm that I received the impressive second volume of your book today from the Academy of Learning. In the next issue of Philosophical Movement, I’ll place a mention of it in the ‘publication news’ section. Moreover, I hope to print a more extensive review in the following issue. I’m taking this opportunity to inform you that I received an obituary for Zawirski from Poznań, thus my previous request to you in this regard is no longer applicable.

            Best regards and cordial greetings

Tad.

PS. Just after writing this card, I received your letter of 21/11, for which I cordially thank you – though your refusal to review Souriau worries me. Don’t worry about the lack of available copies of Dispute for me ‒ I have one review copy available to me, and we’ll buy another for the Seminars. Szcz. is in a bad spot – but in no case can there be any talk of returning the advance – Cordial greetings, T.

PS2. Please send me the current composition of the Polish Academy of Learning’s ‘Com. Translat. Hist. Philosophy’ (see Phil. M. XII. p. 172a)
