Postcard from Stanisław Ignacy Witkiewicz written 17.09.1937
17.IX 1937
Honoured and Dear Professor: Today I received a mad letter from Cornelius, who wishes to visit me in Z[akopane] and in W[arsaw]. Wouldn’t it be possible to connect it with some presentation of a paper in Lviv. I am asking for a few words on this matter. It is [v]ery empty [here] after your departure. You are a very rare specimen of a 1st class man, spelt with a capital M. A live rock and a washed soul, without Freud even. Höchst interessant.
ERFB [I enclose words of respect and friendship for you both] F.G. [family greetings]

Here’s what you missed. The same can be seen from Kasprowy Peak [on a postcard with a view of the Tatras, a border post with the letter P in the foreground, on the Kopa Kondracka Peak].
