Postcard from Stanisław Ignacy Witkiewicz written 08.04.1936

8.IV 1936

Honoured and Dear Professor =
Thank you very much for the prospectus sent. But I have the impression that you did not receive my letter with Adam Czachowski’s addr[ess] (Anczyca 11, Salwator), and with the supposition that this time it would be nice in Z[akopane], as compensation and [expression of] gratitude for the brochures. In that case, you took me for a boor. I am straightening it out, enclosing words of affection and respect for you and your family.            n Witkacy

What are your plans for late summer (Spätsommer). I am working a lot. Wtg’s [Wittgenstein’s] critique 137. Unwashed Souls 110. If the letter has been lost, you also don’t know that Kotarb has written a critique of my Hauptwerk, which is to be published along with my response.
