Honoured and Dear Professor.
I sincerely thank you for both postcards.  I have just read the dissertation about the psychophysic[al] theory of cognition.  Thank you for everything.  I write about Chw[istek] in this way because, in my mind he died a long time ago  –  in memory of old times.  Personal relations because of these ailing qualities are impossible.  Once again, thank you and I enclose my words of deep respect and affection.
