c I’m returning here to the matter of the Semiotic Congress, whose programme we must arrange and send to its participants no later than the end of this month. Since we wanted to organise the Congress so that the mornings would be plenary, we thought that the first plenary meeting would be filled with the lectures of Professor Benveniste and yourself. Without your final decision concerning your participation in the Congress, we can’t arrange the programme. Therefore I’m asking for the quickest possible decision and reply.
