Letter from Władysław Tatarkiewicz written 26.02.1961
Warsaw
26.2.61
Dear Roman, I send you my cordial wishes for 28 February: health, a feeling of well-being, and continued academic activity, always just as great, creative, and useful.
I’m taking advantage, however, of your name-day letter to confirm the announcement of a lecture at the Cracow branch of the Polish Philosophical Society. The meeting of the Cracow branch of the Polish Academy of Sciences hasn’t been scheduled yet, but I don’t want to put it off for very long. I suggest Wednesday, 15 March. Let the title be, as I said, ‘Expression and contemplation’, even though there will be much more about the former than about the latter.
So until I see you again, and meanwhile a cordial handshake
