Please find attached herewith the signed contract for the translation of I. Kant’s Critique of Pure Reason, and please supplement it with the following two points:
I. Addendum to clause 9:
If the translator’s work is terminated by reason of their death and a failure to comply with any of the deadlines mentioned in the contract occurs as a result, the heirs of the translator will submit all readily available parts of the translation, but they are not obliged to return the advances received by the translator before this point.
II. to clause 10 / I. add after the clause:
As the translator delivers the translation in installments, the publisher shall also accept the translation in parts in coordination with the submissions of the material.
Please kindly let me know if the Publishing Institute /or possibly the Committee of the Library of the Classics/ accepts the proposed additions to the contract.
